IAD

Information Addiction Disorder.

I sometimes find a need for information, a need to know something new, to satisfy my unquenchable thirst of curiosity. Stumble! Stumble! Stumble!
In today's society, there is so much information. So many new things are discovered every day. There are so many things we don't know. Often i will be at my computer and i have a urge to just learn something new. In a way it is like i want to be entertained by these new facts, to be awed by what is, and how it works.
This has been beneficial. The ability for me to know just about anything by typing it into google, has increased by curiousity and my inspection of ideas and things. However, sometimes we just need to slow down. Information is not always useful. It needs to be sorted, simplified, organised and understood. Then the information becomes useful (if applicable to circumstances). I am sure there are others who can't stop sufing, and just wanna look at one more thing. A thirst for knowledge is good, but remember...... balance in all things.
